How to Order and Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, DISCOVER, and Paypal payments. Only debit cards backed by a credit card company listed above (Visa, Mastercard, etc) can be accepted. All orders are processed using an SSL secure connection during the transaction keeping your information secure and private. For credit card orders, your verification number (CVV2) is required. These are the last three digits that can be found on the back of your Visa or Mastercard. For you Amex holders, it's the four digits located on the front of the card. If you're not sure, or the numbers are faded from all that shopping, please contact your credit card company before placing your order.

How do I know if my order was processed?
Before checking out, make sure to double-check the information you entered is as accurate - especially your email address. If you have successfully placed a purchase, you will immediately be sent a confirmation email receipt with your order information. Your email confirmation receipt will have the amount that was charged to your card/PayPal account. If you have placed multiple orders, you will receive a confirmation email for each individual order successfully placed.
Help, multiple transactions were deducted from my account!
Don't panic! More than likely, you ran into some trouble placing your order and placed multiple orders by accident. If this is the case, your credit card company could have read the multiple attempts and processed the information entered as a pending transaction. Contact us at orders@kleankanteen.com to verify if your order has gone thru and has been processed. Depending on your credit card company's cycle, and whether your order was processed or not, your pending transactions should clear.

Shipping and Handling
When will my order ship?
Orders are typically fulfilled and out the door within 2-3 business days. It all depends on how many orders are in line in front of yours. If you selected an expedited shipping method like 2nd day or next day air, your order will ship with in 1 or 2 business days. All Klean Kanteen orders ship from our warehouse in Chico, California.
| NOTE: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2-3 business days, however due to increased demand for our products due in part to the widespread BPA publicity, orders are now taking 10-15 days for processing, shipment, and delivery in the continental U.S. Rest assured we're all working around the clock to fulfill orders and to keep our klean kanteen friends & family happy. Carriers
Klean Kanteen ships via UPS and FedEx for domestic orders and USPS for all international orders. Customers choosing an expedited method (i.e. 2nd day Air etc.) will be emailed a tracking number after the order has been shipped.

Shipping Holidays
Klean Kanteen and its carriers will not be shipping or delivering on:
• Memorial Day - May 26, 2008
• Independence Day - July 4, 2008
• Labor Day - September 1, 2008
• Thanksgiving Day - November 27, 2008
• Day after Thanksgiving - November 28, 2008
• Christmas Day - December 25, 2008
• New Year's Eve - December 31, 2008
• New Year's Day - January 1, 2009
APO, FPO, PO Boxes
UPS/FedEx delivery is not available for PO Boxes and at this time we are currently not shipping to APO, FPO, or PO Boxes when orders are placed through our web site. However, APO, FPO, and PO Box delivery are available when an order is placed by phone.
Rural Delivery
On occasion, in very rural areas expedited UPS/FedEx delivery is not available. In such cases please allow an additional 3-4 business days for delivery.
Shipping Charges
We provide a shipping charge specific to your order based on the size and weight of the package, as well as your ship to location. To see what shipping charges will be for your order, add the desired items to your cart and proceed to checkout. A shipping charge will be provided in the checkout process prior to the time when you submit your order for processing.
International Orders
Shipping charges are based on the weight of the item(s) shipped to the country of destination.
Transit times for international orders typically take 5 to 10 days* depending on transportation service level and country of destination. Express Mail® International typically takes 5 days while Priority Mail® International generally takes 6-10 days.
* Some orders may take a little longer than these times due to USPS Logistics.
International orders are subject to Duties, Customs and Value Added Taxes. These charges MUST be paid upon receipt of your order. Be sure to verify the additional cost you may incur with the authorities of the country the order is being shipped to.
U.S. Sales Tax
Klean Kanteen collects sales tax in California only.

Returns Policy & Process
What qualifies for a non-warranty return? If you purchased or received a product directly from kleankanteen.com and would like to return it within 30 days, we can issue you a refund or web-store credit. Returned goods must be in perfect, unused condition and must be made within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, we will not accept returns for any reason other than manufacturer defect.
If you purchased your product from a retail store or a website other than kleankanteen.com, please go directly to the original place of purchase.
Returns
To process a return please follow these steps: Find the Order Number (it’s a 7 digit number)on the invoice you received with your order or on the email invoice you received after placing your order. If you don’t know this number, please email customerservice@kleankanteen.com. Give us your first name, last name, email address, shipping address and order date. If this was a gift, please tell us the purchaser’s first and last name. We’ll look up your Order Number and email it back to you. Fill out our return form and include this with your returned products to:

If You Received the Wrong Product
If you received the wrong product in your shipment, or are missing something from your order, please contact us at customerservice@kleankanteen.com. To expedite a resolution, please indicate your order number, as well as the item that was shipped in error or was missing from your order. We will process a replacement shipment and provide return instructions if applicable as soon as possible.

Warranty
If you think your Klean Kanteen purchase is defective, you may qualify for a warranty return. We offer a 1-year guarantee on our klean Kanteen bottles and caps/lids against manufacturing defects.
Warranty Return & Exchange Information
We are proud of the materials and workmanship that goes into each klean kanteen, and we stand behind all of our products and accessories. But we also stand behind the unpredictable nature of life. If there’s a defect with the materials or workmanship of your Klean Kanteen product, we’ll issue you a merchandise credit to buy a new product from our website. Anytime, anywhere, no hassles. If your klean kanteen is otherwise damaged in the course of normal (or abnormal) wear and tear, you may not qualify for our warranty replacement, but we’re sure you’ve got a great story to go along with the dents and scratches (and we'd be interested in hearing it!).
Klean Kanteen-produced accessories, such as caps, slings and cages, are handled in the same manner as our kanteens. Accessories by other manufacturers, such as BuiltNY®, qualify for warranty return only if they were purchased from kleankanteen.com.
Retail Purchases
If you purchased your kanteen from a retailer, it is often easier to return it to the retailer, avoiding shipping charges/impact and the hassle of being without your kanteen.
