CLIF BAR GreenNotes

Klean Kanteen® is proud to support CLIF BAR GreenNotes, a program that is dedicated to helping artists reduce their environmental impact while on tour. The program also encourages music fans to take environmental action, even challenging them to pledge to reduce their own impact by eating organic, biking to work and reducing the amount of trash they create by composting.

We're all for reusing and recycling, two of the three pieces of the reduce/reuse/recycle trinity. But the word "reduce" is the first in the list for a reason. The more we reduce our consumption, the less waste we create in the first place.

We're excited that CLIF BAR GreenNotes is encouraging musicians and fans to use a durable, refillable Klean Kanteen® in their daily lives and at concerts instead of buying bottled water.

After any concert, the field or concert venue is inevitably strewn with thousands of empty or half-full plastic bottles, bottles that may or may not ever get recycled. Someday, we hope to see concerts packed with people toting eco-friendly, refillable Klean Kanteens™. The CLIF BAR GreenNotes program is a huge step in the right direction.
