Klean Kanteen is happy to partner with numerous forward-thinking events, who have challenged the status quo and gone plastic-free, even for multi-day music festivals. Working closely with event coordinators, we are helping set the standard for environmental responsibility, helping eliminate and reduce single-use plastics.

The sustainability commitment of the founders, sponsors, volunteers and attendees creates a powerful atmosphere of caring, for each other and the planet. FloydFest - Floyd, VA
Situated on the pristine Blue Ridge Parkway in rural Virginia, FloydFest has become a model for the independent, grassroots, multi-genre family friendly music festival. Klean Kanteen helped FloydFest installed a 700 ft. deep commercial well to provide FREE drinking water for the festival. FloydFest also featured the steel pint, displacing 60,000 single use plastic cups in their beer and wine gardens!

Outdoor Retailer - Salt Lake City, UT
Klean Kanteen has contined to make a huge splash at the Outdoor Retailer (OR) tradeshow. The event showcases leading companies in the outdoor market, exhibiting their newest products and meeting with others in the industry. We worked with Patagonia, Osprey and others to introduce "plastic-free" happy hours, utilizing special edition Kanteen Steel Pints. We're showing the outdoor industry that you CAN drink responsibly, even at large tradeshows!

Kanteen Steel Pint Cup
Many of our event sponsorships have been the proving ground for the Klean Kanteen Steel Pint. Attendees receive or purchase special-edition 16oz steel pint cups they can refill with beer, water, coffee, or other beverages. The pint cup has replaced literally hundreds of thousands of single-use corn-based and plastic cups.

Water Refill Stations
Klean Kanteen has also provided FREE water refill stations, as part of our goal to eliminate single-use water bottles. Many events have in turn committed to not sell bottled water, which we feel no one should have to pay for! The response has been amazing, from festival goers and event organizers alike.

Plastic-Free Food Vendors
One of our festival partners, Pickathon, even took it a step further and eliminated all single-use plastic utensils and dishware. We hope other festivals will follow suit, proving you can go completely plastic-free, even at large-scale, multi-day events.
