Jun 19-25	Climb Against the Odds Every year a team of women and men touched by breast cancer embark on a daring mountain expedition for breast cancer prevention. This June, another inspiring team climbed Northern California's 14,179-foot Mt. Shasta during the Breast Cancer Fund's 2011 Climb Against the Odds. Klean Kanteen® supports the Breast Cancer Fund and its events through direct support and in-kind donations, and this year Klean Kanteen employee Sarah Geyer proudly participating in the climb! Jul 28-31	FloydFest X Music Festival FloydFest, which is situated on the pristine and non-commercial Blue Ridge Parkway, continues to value environmental sustainability and cleanliness. This year, Klean Kanteen and FloydFest installed a commercial well, making it possible to provide FREE drinking water to all festival patrons. Aug 4-7	Outdoor Retailer (OR) Summer Market Klean Kanteen made a huge splash this year at the Outdoor Retailer (OR) tradeshow in Salt Lake City. The event showcases leading brands and companies in the outdoor market, exhibiting their newest products and meeting with others in the industry. We were happy to work with Patagonia and Osprey to introduce "plastic-free" happy hours this year. Each company sold a special edition Kanteen Steel Pint, with proceeds benefiting the Buffalo Field Campaign. The happy hours were a huge success, with extremely long lines, steel pints selling out quickly, and a lot of great industry buzz and excitement from one of the biggest crowds in OR history.
