They work to translate the growing body of scientific evidence linking breast cancer and environmental exposures into public education and advocacy campaigns that protect our health and reduce breast cancer risk.

The Breast Cancer Fund's annual Climb Against the Odds helps raise money to support their work. In 1995, 17 breast cancer survivors climbed Mt. Aconcagua in Argentina. They brought 170 prayer flags, each bearing the name of a loved one touched by cancer. The symbolic tradition of the prayer flags continues, with very special meaning to the BCF.
