Thursday Getaway: Legacy, an American Rivers Film

March 02 2016

My job was to enjoy this beautiful country, and give back for what it has given to me. And doing the Wild & Scenic bill and being involved in all the things here, I felt like I accomplished that.” – Jack Dennis

American Rivers agrees, which is why they made this short film. Legacy carries us through a thoughtful conversation with legendary fly fishing guide Jack Dennis as he explains how he, along with late Senator Craig Thomas, American Rivers and its partners, worked to designate the Upper Snake River Headwaters in Wyoming as one of the nation’s most comprehensive Wild & Scenic Rivers.

Listen and enjoy the incredible sights of the Snake near Jackson, which makes this river unique in its own right. And share in the experience of playing amid its waters, and enjoying the simple beauty of a great river.

Thanks to American Rivers for making this beautiful short film.
