Great tumbler for tea!
The 8oz tumbler is a fantastic option for tea fans. It's a perfect size for a single bag, and has a fantastic feel and finish. The only thing sadly missing from this, is a lid option for travel. The included sip lid is more than sufficient for around the house drinking, but if you want to make yourself a single to go, sadly that is not an option at this time with the accessories available on the site. I'm ordering a straw top that appears to fit the insulated tumbler, in hopes that it will provide more of a spill proof option for those of us constantly in motion during the day. Klean Kanteen, please make a travel top for this size!!! Otherwise, this thing rocks!

Amazing upgrade!!!
I like my “adult beverages” on the rocks...not watered down. I purchased this (after owning SEVERAL insulated water bottles) specifically for this purpose. It does Not disappoint!
I’ve also turned several people on to the best whiskey cup on the planet. In addition, it doesn’t hurt that I can use the same cup the next morning for coffee.
My wife and I own 2 water bottles (20 oz insulated), 2 tumblers (20 oz insulated), and 2 8oz tumblers (insulated). We do not use any other glasses at home, or while out. We also have the Klean Kanteen straws!
These are the best products out there!! You cannot go wrong with anything offered here.

Customer support is key
I recently purchased a slate-colored insulated tumbler. I use for everything from coffee in the AM to the occasional adult beverage at night. When I purchased mine, the finish on the tumbler had a small imprint that wouldn't come clean, caused by tape residue. Well, I contacted Customer Service about it. A few days later they contacted me back, and were very kind, and shipped me a new tumbler no questions asked. I have bought several of the Kanteen products over the last few years, and some are so worn out that I've hammered out dents, and even repainted them. It's the first time I've had to contact Customer Service, and they did it right. Thank you!

Nice tumbler
Bought this cup a few weeks ago and it really is the perfect size for nespresso in the morning. I have multiple size tumblers and cup so this size is a nice addition. The only thing is that it doesn't keep my coffee hotter than about an hour though, and it is a little hard to drink out of when the lid is on. I feel like the lid pushes the liquid back in the cup and it kinda all spurts out. I love just sipping on my drink with the lid off. I do love that the lid also works with the stainless steel cups that klean kanteen sells. Overall for the price I give this tumbler a 4/5 because it is a little pricey for only keeping my drink warm for about an hour max.

Could be better
While I haven't put the heat holding abilities of the Kleen Canteen Insulated 8 oz tumbler to the test, my first experience with it left me a little ambivalent. First, it's a great idea and I would give five stars just for that. Not everyone wants to drink 12 oz of coffee. It's minimalist design were a draw for me. My issue is with the plastic cover. As I walked along with it, coffee was splashing on to me, which I haven't found with other reusable cups of the standard solo-cup design. Perhaps it is the smaller size. I also didn't find it comfortable to drink through the lid, I think there was a tendency to spill drink. I think putting some more thought into the lid, which perhaps should have some kind of closure on it, would be ideal. Either way, it's a high quality product, which I will use for a long time to come.

Still looking for the right solution
I have smaller hands and I find holding this cup pretty uncomfortable. Additionally, the lip of the cup is so thick that it's hard to sip from it with the lid on and not have it drip down the side of the container. If you are trying to use this cup in a car, be prepared for it to splash if you hit a bump when trying to take a sip. Positively, it does keep the drink hot, and is well made, but it doesn't work for my intended use.

First disappointment from Klean Kanteen
I bought this cup after being really happy with several other Klean Kanteen products that I own and it's my first disappointment from you.
First, the build quality. It just doesn't feel as sturdy and life proof as your other products. Also, the gasket doesn't sit nicely, it moves and makes the seal difficult or impossible.
Second, I know it isn't spill proof, but still - You can not have overlooked the cap design that would actually seal the liquid in... It already toppled over several times in my cup holder in my car and coffee was spilled on the entire compartment... And to think I bought this cup as your other products were just too wide for my european car cup holder (Fiat Punto).
And last, it doesn't retain heat as advertised. Coffee that was poured boiling hot into the cup, was luke warm after less than an hour. far from your advertised 2 hour hot promise.
I am very disappointed.

Sippin' Perfection
I've been carrying around a scotch sleeve stuffed with carefully wrapped glasses for the evening indulgement on climbing and camping trips. No more. The 8oz tumbler is the perfect size, feels good in the hand and is quite attractive too. And it won't break when it takes a dive from a precarious stance on un-even rock (though tears will still be shed for the wasted contents.) There is no metallic taste and the narrow rim is just right to savor your dram, and I guess the insulating design will be nice for some, though I like my Highland Park neat. I'm really happy with these cups and you will be too.
