Great product, Green company
I really like it. I've used it pretty much everyday since I've had it. It's super convenient to carry around. The only thing to be aware of is that the paint tends to chip off quite easily. While I'd expect it to chip it off a bit after dropping it on concrete, I'm surprised to see it happen after repeatedly putting it in the water bottle cage on my bike. Also, if it is dropped on concrete, the bottom can get slightly deformed, making it less steady in its balance. I'm not fussed about it. The worn look gives it character. Still, it's a fine product that is well worth the money. I also appreciate that Klean Kanteen actively pushes a environmental agenda.

Not leak-proof
I love the cap for ease of carrying, and design. It looks good and has been spill-proof. However, it's not completely leak-proof. When a change of temperature occurs inside it affects the pressure, and some contents will be forced out. To compensate, when I first fill it with hot liquid I'm careful to loosen the lid so pressure doesn't build. It works for the most part, but maybe the seal design could be improved so a little pressure inside wouldn't force a leak.

Wide Loop Cap
Easy to clean. Never leaks. Stays closed. Incredibly durable. Using this lid let's me take in a lot of water which is so nice on a hot day. My other Wide mouth cap is still going strong. I am purchasing this for our new bottle that didn't come with this cap. The older wide mouth cap that I have has lasted 5 + years and seems as good as new. The gasket is showing a little wear but it still works as well as it did when new. Is good to know I can replace the gasket if needed. Does seem to take many twists to open but the other advantages outweigh the wrist exercise.

Really good but not great.
The loop cap I purchased works very well. It has never leaked on me and it feels exceptionally well made. I feel that I would have to try really try if I wanted to break it. I do have two minor complaints though. If I leave a cold drink in my bottle and I do not place the bottle upright, then the cap will sweat. But once I place the bottle vertically again the ‘sweat' evaporates very quickly. My other complaint is that the gap between the loop and the cap itself is rather small. I will I had a bit more room so I could fit a few more fingers under the loop.

The cap doesn't seal well or fit properly. I would buy a new bottle rather than a replacement cap.

Nice design change
I had to get a new cap for my wide mouthed water bottle because I befouled the old one by adding essential oils to my water. While the steel was impervious to the adulteration, the rubberized seal inside the cap was not and it was causing my whole water bottle to stink. The new design has a replaceable seal so going forward I can just replace the seal part of the cap instead of the whole thing if I run into the same problem. Nice design improvement!

New and improved
I've had two 20 oz Insulated Klean Kanteen previously: they've all kept beverages cold or hot for way longer than I need to drink them. THis one is no different. But I'm especially excited about the improved drinking cap: it seals much better than the old caps. Enough so that I'm confident enough to put the Kanteen in my bag with computer for short bike rides to work. Nice work!

Very Happy
I love this cap because it makes the unit easy to carry. I can drop the unit/get it dirty, and all I have to do is remove the cap to have a clean drinking surface. Perfect for the job site, camping/hiking, etc. I have dropped and dented it several times and it still does the job. I'm very happy with the engineering and the workmanship of this product.
