Great For Daycare Use!
I purchased 7 of the 12 oz Classic Klean Kanteens when i first opened my home daycare in 2010. I ordered 7 different colors so the children would each be able to easily tell which water bottle was theirs. I have had the bottles (and sport caps) for over 5 years now and they have held up through many children, daily use and daily washing. We love taking them with us on field trips and park days as well as when we play in the backyard. The children always have access to clean water in their own water bottles to encourage them to stay hydrated throughout the day, especially in the summer. The children love them and the independence they allow.

Tough for Little Hands to Close
We bought two blue bottles for our kids ages 3 and 5. We love the size - perfect for both kids and fits well in a lunch bag. Only problem is their backpacks regularly come home soaked - the spout is difficult to close securely and for the kids to tell if it's closed all the way. Also be aware that although we only hand-wash these, the colour is already starting to chip a few months into the school year. Love the idea, and they work well enough, but the cap design could use some work if you want your kids to use them independently at school without a mess.

Spout is hard to pull
I really like these water bottles, they are durable, keep drinks cold and are the perfect size for short outings. I bought one for each of my two sons (7 and 4 year old). The only problem is that I'm on the second set of caps because the black spouts are hard to pull and my sons use their teeth (instead of fingers) to pull them up. This causes the upper most part of the cap to split and break off. Wondering if the sippy cap would solve the problem or if they are just for toddlers? I've told my sons a bunch of times not too use their teeth but you know how that goes ;)

Staple of life
I own more of these bottles than I can count. Not because they wear out, but because I use them so much! I rely on them to provide chemical-free filtered water to my 3 kids and myself during school and on-the-go. They are durable, easily washable and beautiful. Best of all, they don't leach chemicals into their water like plastics and some lined metal bottles. I especially love the new bamboo&metal lids with swivel loop - they happen to provide leverage for little hands making opening easier. Plus, they are beautiful. Well worth the money!

Oldest Kid Kanteen!
Our polished stainless Kleen Kanteen 12 oz has been with us since at least 2007! It first started with a sippy spout with my son ... then graduated to a sports cap and 9 years later it's still going strong! This is the only cup that goes in my dishwasher all the time, can hold anything from milk to juice, has travelled around the world and still looks good enough for me to pull out anywhere. I've recommended it to relatives, friends and strangers. Happy to say they are all grateful customers. Thank you Kleen Kanteen!

The Kid Classic Sport 12 oz
I love it. I am a personal trainer and always encouraging my clients to stay hydrated and without plastic water bottles. They all have the larger water bottles but they had a need for a small one they could put in a bag or purse and refill. These should do the trick. Also I hike and the large water bottles are hard to carry on a short trip where I don't have a backpack. Two of these fit in a holder I have on a waist purse and they don't get in the way. That is a total of 24 ounces for the two. Love them!

My favorite reusable bottle
Hey team, This 12 oz steel bottle with loop cap (my preference) is my favorite reusable bottle because it never fails to be useful. I love the size for travel because it doubles as a backup cup on the plane, the short height makes it most useful when refilling at challenging drinking fountains, and the tidy size generally means it can fit no matter space limits. I realized this bottle was my favorite when commuting on BART. The small size allowed me to carry enough water to wet my whistle (and perhaps take an Advil) while carrying less "stuff" volume on my commute. Since then I've found the small size makes it super handy at all sorts of events. On airplanes I like it as well as an alternative to the tiny airplane cups. The wider bottom and cap blow those tiny plastic cups out of the water.

EASY TO CLEAN, METAL & COLORFUL!! SOLD!
My reason to purchase was due to health reasons: 1) EASY TO CLEAN - I had 2 different Contigo bottles before and very difficult or nearly impossible to clean underside of cap (where juice makes contact) so i was worried about bacteria buildup 2) HEALTHY OPTION - wanted metal not plastic to store my kids juice as i didnt want any plastic leeching into juice 3) COLORFUL - once health concerns addressed, I really liked how colorful the bottles were. I bought all 3 colors.
