Rated 5 out of 5 by from Data I bought this to take on my bicycle on hot days. It works great but I had to attach some plastic tubing to the bottle cage so it would not rattle. I did a few experiments. In every case I started with a room temperature bottle (68 Degrees F). I filled the bottle with 175 degree water and set in a garage that was 31 degrees. At 4 hours the water was 151 degrees. At 6 hours it was 141 degrees. I started again with 175 degree water and set it on the kitchen counter (68 degrees). At 4 hours it was 157 degrees. At 6 hours it was at 150. For the final experiment, I filled the bottle with 36 degree water. At 4 hours it was 38 degrees and at 6 hours it was 40 degrees.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality construction I personally use a hydroflask but just to compare, I bought the 20z klean about 7-8 months ago which was given to my mom. She uses it just about everyday, abusing the hell out of it by storing hot soups and nothing else. The integrity of the bottle is impressive. It keeps things hot as well as it ever did and surprisingly the paint job is fully intact. My hydro which was bought at the same time already looks run down ( parts of logo missing, lots of bits missing here n there). This is a quality bottle here made to last, made to endure the worst of us. If this bottle had one thing to say to us, it'd mock us for not abusing it harder.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Why can't we choose our own lids? My family has been using Klean Kanteen water bottles for almost a decade. They're more durable than any other brand we've tried. I have a small quibble though. Why must I buy a bottle with a cap I'm never going to use, then buy the one I want separately? Why can't I just choose which lid I want to begin with and pay accordingly? I have a drawer full of the "default" lids that you have to unscrew in order to drink from the bottle. Not very eco-friendly to force people to buy something they don't want.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool water battle in Arizona I purchased the 20 ounce insulated tumbler because I am always searching for a container that will keep my water cool in the car. Sometimes the container is left in the car when it can't be carried. I am so tired of drinking warm water. This container is amazing. It stays cool for hours. Since it is going to be 118 degrees on Monday, I certainly am going to bring my new insulated tumbler. My only problem is remembering that since it has a straw in the sealed cap, it will drip if I bend over and it is in my bag. The seal around the straw is not tight. No worries, this is Arizona. Everything dries fast. Even me:sunglasses:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Insulated Classic I don't buy stuff because of the "brand name" trend. But, after I borrowed a friends bottle to bring hot tea to work one cold morning I discovered there was more to Klean Kanteen than the name. My tea was just as hot as it was when I left (2 hours later)! As soon as I realized it did the same thing for cold - and I have tried several different styles of water bottles that claim to keep water cold and fail - I knew purchasing one was going to be a good investment (which says a lot since I'm currently doing a year of service and am considered a volunteer sovonly receive a stipend each month). That being said, I have no regrets nor shame for buying a brand name product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps things very cold! I love my Klean Kanteen! I bought one for myself to start. It was a little more expensive than what I would normally spend, but I quickly learned that it is well worth the price. I will not need another insulated bottle for a LONG time. What I love the most is how cold it keeps my drinks. I can put a couple ice cubes and water in it, and the ice hasn't even melted by the next day. Shortly after buying one for myself, I had to get 2 more for my husband and son because they kept stealing my bottle from me because they wanted to have cold water instead of the warm water in their bottles. I 100% recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Pink I decided to switch from Sigg to Klean Kanteen after learning that Sigg had used BPA in their bottles despite their claims that their protective lining were non toxic and superior to anything else on the market. Sigg has promised that their new coating no longer has chemicals but their assurances come a day late and a dollar short. I love my Klean Kanteen. The wider opening makes cleaning and adding ice a breeze. The insulation is far better than my old Sigg. Two ice cubes last me 2 days in the summer. I do wish that Klean Kanteen had more designs available, but their is no debating this is a far superior bottle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from review got the reflect, 21oz and its just what i wanted! (something to fit im my lifeguard chair @ work. looks nice too, i thought the wood cap was a lil pretentious looking, so i bought as stainless cap and its much better. the wood cap looks really good on my 21oz insulated tho! i was really hoping the growler flip lid would work for insulated bottles, but apparently your not supposed to mix it with hot liquids( i wanted it for skiing, so i wouldnt loose my lid) its not on my 40oz classic, and was stiff at first but now is easy to open and close. thx for providing me with great quality stainless steel water bottles!
