Big enough to hold a full 18 ounces, yet small enough to fit easily into your pack, purse, bike cage or messenger bag, the 18oz Klean Kanteen® Wide is our most versatile size. It's only 6.5 inches high and weighs just 3.75 ounces, so it's compact and light. It's got a big mouth too — more than 2 inches wide to be exact! It's quick to refill at the water cooler or even a sink, and it's easy to pour from and clean.

The threads are 100% stainless steel and the design works with standard backcountry hiking water filters. The inside of the wide-mouth caps is all stainless too, so your drinks never touch plastic. In fact, the only plastic on the Klean Kanteen® Wide is on the outside of the cap; and of course it's BPA-free polypropylene (pp#5).

The Klean Kanteen® Wide comes with two options of a Stainless Loop Cap or low profile, stylish and functional Flip D-Ring Cap. Both caps works seamlessly with the Kanteen® S-Biner, making it a snap to clip your Kanteen onto a shoulder strap, a work belt or even a climbing harness.

All Klean Kanteen® products are made from high quality, 18/8, food-grade stainless steel that's totally free of BPA and other toxins. Because stainless steel itself is safe, we don't need to coat the inside of our bottles with a plastic or epoxy lining, which is one of the main differences between a stainless steel Klean Kanteen® and aluminum bottles.

Food-grade stainless steel is used in the brewing, food and winemaking industries too. It's the material of choice because it doesn't retain or impart flavors.
