Your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with rights regarding how your data or personal information is treated. Under the legislation, California residents can choose to opt out of the “sale” of their personal information to third parties. Selling of Information

We will never share, sell, or rent your information with any person, company or organization for their promotional use without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. This applies to both third-parties and the data we collect to help personalize your experience on our website or through other communications. Request Deletion of Personal Information

If you would like to have all of your personal information deleted and purged from our systems, including email, SMS, and online store account, please contact web@kleankanteen.com with your email and name on your account.

Unsubscribe from SMS Texts

To stop receiving text messages from Klean Kanteen, text the word STOP to 72236 any time or reply STOP to any of the text messages you have received from Klean Kanteen. After texting STOP to 72236, you will receive one additional message confirming that your request has been processed.

We also make it easy for you to remove your SMS number from receiving text messages. Subscribers can reply STOP to cancel and unsubscribe at any time, and this language is included on the bottom of frequent SMS messages, per our the compliance policy with our SMS service provider. We also track users that receive compliance language in their messages.

Customers can also Unsubscribe from SMS and email messages on our Email Preferences page here. Once customers opt-out or unsubscribe from SMS they will no longer be sent SMS marketing text messages and will be on our suppression list. Transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, and abandon cart messages may still be sent via SMS. 

Unsubscribe from Emails

We also want to make it easy for you to remove your email address from our mailing list. At the bottom of every email is a link that allows you to change your email preferences, or to unsubscribe. Just follow the Unsubscribe or Preferences links at the end of any email, or click on on our Email Preferences page here. Transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, and abandon cart messages may still be sent, as well as Loyalty Program, Referral and and account emails, which are separate lists and can be subscribed to or unsubscribed to individually.
