"We love our stainless steel water bottles. Our water stays cold for the day and I appreciate the healthy materials. We only use them for water. I do however wish the handle was a little taller as it’s a tight fit for your fingers. My son uses the 16oz but I can’t order it with a straw lid just the coffee lid, so I had to spend extra to order the bottle and a separate lid. Sometimes it’s hard to open and it puts pressure on the handle, we had a handle break off. The bottle is heavy full but I’m so happy not using plastic! The bottom dents if you drop it but otherwise it holds up. We’ve had a bottle for over a year! The color part doesn’t chip away!"

Good quality

"I love that replacement parts are easy to buy. If anything the tkwide system keeps my drink too warm in the morning. I have a 1 hour commute and would like to enjoy tea when I get to work without burning myself. Still I bought a few of these straw styles for water so all my bottles can be the same lid ecosystem."

Meets my non-plastic needs

"Tried out this water bottle because of the non-plastic parts. It's hard to find a good water bottle with a stainless steel straw and silicone spout. Loving it so far! The only negative for me - In order to open the bottle to fill it, the topper has to be in the open position. Wish it was the other way and you could open the bottle in the closed position."

"Out of all of the top brands of thermoses and water bottles I have owned, klean kanteen is the best. The twist cap with the straw is a genius design. I love that I can twist it closed so my straw stays clean. I can throw it in a bag, or backpack, and it never leaks. It's easy to clean. It fits comfortably in my hand, and perfectly in the cup holder of the car. I own several, that are in constant use, I can't think of one complaint! Does this fit in a standard cup holder? If not, which of the TKWide insulated bottles does?
Hey Megan. Sorry to say, there is such a wide variety of cup holders and automobiles, we can't answer this directly. Most of our smaller bottles (12oz, 16oz and 20oz) do tend to fit, but you can check out the Specs for dimensions and compare to your cup holder? The 20oz TKWide is 3.0" wide (76.2 mm) at the base. Hope this helps!
Hi, I'd like to purchase the light blue or red bottle but with a cafe cap. Unfortunately, the TK Wide with cafe cap don't have the light blue or red color as an option. I also know that I won't use the twist cap. Is it possible to select another cap as the default set (instead of spending money to buy an additional cap and have one unused) ?

Which sizes of the TK wide require use of the silicone extension?
The silicone extension is only needed when a Twist cap is purchased separately. The stainless steel straw that comes with it is only compatible with our shortest, the 12oz.
The product description states-- "Comes with the leak proof Twist Cap with built-in reusable steel straw. (fits 20 oz size) NOTE: Not suitable for liquids above room temperature. Not intended for hot or carbonated beverages." Is the TKWide unsuitable for hot beverages or is that warning referring to the Twist Cap or to the steel straw?

I have had my TK wide insulated 20 oz with a cafe lid for about 1 year. It would keep my coffee hot for about 6 hours but now it will keep the coffee hot for about an hour. I hand wash each time and have taken great care of it so what happened???

Hello, i am interested in this bottle (Insulated TKWide 20 oz with Twist Cap), i mostly use them for water but sometimes i like to drink tea. The description does not mention anything for hot beverages. Can you please inform me if it can maintain tea hot for 4-5 hours? Thanks
