The included straw is a wider 10mm, perfect for smoothies, and comes with cut-to-fit silicone extender allowing it to fit any size of our TKWide bottles. Love the straw & silicone extender is genius
"I recently was trying to find pack of stainless steel straws on Amazon and they were either too long or too short and was like why am I doing this? Klean Kanteen has great straws of higher quality for less money that can fit various heights. This 10 mm size is wide and perfect for smoothies. I actually wish they sold a silicone extender with the straw packs, and for 8mm size, but the 10mm straw included in this package can be the perfect height for 12, 20, or the 32 oz. TK wide cups, or any other cup you want to use it with. the straw itself is a little short unless using with 12 oz, but even if good length for your cup I recommend cutting a very short part of extender and adding it so steel does not scrap or bang against bottom of cup, making straw silent. It so functional and smart! I would love to be able add just extenders without buying another lid for my other Klean Kanteen straws. I posted a picture of two of 10 mm straws with extenders cut to different lengths and one of the narrow 8mm straws from a straw pack. Extenders only fit the 10 mm straws. The straw lid is great for casual use, obviously get a different style cap for travel or waterproofing. The default tk wide cap with folding straw lid also genius design!"

- This is not recommended, unless it is iced coffee, smoothies, etc. because the straws are steel and can get hot.

- Hi there, There is a silicone straw that is included in the TKWIDE Straw Cap which is a cut-to-fit extender. There are two lines located on the straw where you will need to cut. Once you cut the line, the straw will be in three pieces and will need to place on the base of the straw. It does not need much space to be secure on the base. When all three pieces are lined up, they will be various sizes. The smallest works for the 16oz, middle 20oz and largest 32oz. The straw alone works for the 12oz TKWIDE.
