"This is our 2nd bottle. It’s great for traveling & daily use. Easy to clean (we have a bottle brush & I use a pop cleaner for the nozzle). Very durable. Somehow keeps water cold (enough) even without insulation for walks on a hot day/in a hot car for a limited time."

"The bottle is comfortable to hold, easy to carry, clean and fill. The extra wide straw means you get a lot of liquid with each drink which is great. There is no residual taste like there is in many plastic bottles. 27 oz is smaller than I expected, so I’ll probably order a larger size bottle next time."

Bottle itself is fine, newer lids are not so great
"Family members in my home don’t care for the straw part so they were using the lids without the straws. Then liquid started to pour through the little vent hole on the lid into our faces. We prefer the old lids. Please bring back more colors with the old lids."
Wonderful color, improved cap
"I’m a fan of this red. Mama finally has a cup color she loves. The new cap is an upgrade from the sport for sure and as someone who hates change I don’t say that lightly. I choose to use it without the straw, for me that’s the whole reason I use this cup vs a cup with a straw is to avoid the extra clean up step. My only minor complaint about the cap is that without the straw you’ve got to turn your cup sideways to tip it back to drink otherwise the loop is hitting your nose preventing you from tipping further back. Does make it a little inconvenient to awkwardly drink from the sideways spout, but minor enough I’ll still be purchasing more of the new lids to replace our falling apart sports cap components. This cap is much easier to clean, still need a tiny brush to get down in there if it’s really dirty or you aren’t utilizing the dish washer, but serious improvement from having to pull out the sports cap spout to clean the entire lid and have to put it back together on top of the repeated taking apart causing the tip of the spout to come off. We all use a different cup color from age 2 on as a family of 9 (and growing) so I hope to see even more colors and shades be added going forward, especially for the caps to customize our choices to our liking."

- I’m trying to cut down on the plastics I buy; is it possible to buy the bottle with a steel cap? I see the reflect version with a bamboo cap, but would prefer the plain steel cap.
- We don't have the staff to be able to offer all bottles with any compatible caps. Sorry!
- Is a bottle brush needed to clean bottles well? Looking at wide mouth vs standard Kleen Kanteens, the standard sizes look like a bottle brush may be required.

- Hi there, The Klean Coat finish only pertains to the colored Kanteens in which the paint will be chip- resistant. The logo is the only section on the brushed stainless Kanteen that will have the Klean Coat.
- I used to have a yellow curry 27 oz classic water bottle and it was basically my life partner. I ended up leaving it at my lab before quarantine so I am looking to buy another. Will this colorway come back on site or should I just buy it off Amazon?

- Hi, Our Classic 27oz Kanteen only has one single wall of stainless steel and is intended to keep water at a neutral temperature. We do not advise placing hot liquids in our single wall Kanteen as the heat can produce on the exterior as well as condensation for ice liquids. Any of our bottles that state insulated under our logo on the Kanteen are double walled and will keep liquids hot or cold for an extended period of time and will not produce condensation/heat on the exterior.
- Is the classic bottle in shale black dishwasher safe?
- To reduce wear and tear and prolong the life of your Klean Kanteen, we recommend hand washing painted bottles with mild, biodegradable detergent. The high water pressure and temperature in dishwashers can cause painted bottles to chip over time.
