Hello, is there a lid for this that does not contain plastic?

Hi, we do not carry a cap for this bottle that is all stainless steel. The core is stainless steel, though, so no plastic is touching the contents.

Will it stay cold for long time

Hi! Would you be willing to update the features & specs on the non-insulated wide bottles? It took me a little while to understand that when it says these bottles are compatible with any wide caps that this does not include the TKWide caps, despite the fact that TKWide caps are wide. It might be helpful to note this in the features & specs to avoid confusing. Judging by the questions on the non-insulated bottle pages, I'm not the only person who had this question or was at least a little confused about this. Also, while it mentions the Cafe Cap 2.0 is an option, that cap does not appear on the Accessory Caps and Lids page. I see the link was provided in the Q&A's - could it be included in the features & specs? Thanks for considering!

Hello, I'm interested in purchasing your Klean Kanteen Wide 40 oz water bottle however I have concerns regarding the design, since this is a single wall stainless steel body, does it have a rolled rim, if so does it roll to the inside or the outside?, and is it open or does it somehow weld to itself?, my concern regards to cleaning of the cavity created under the rolled rim of other bottles, since most of these bottle's rims roll to the outside with an interior thread is not a huge deal, but your bottle seems to have an exterior thread this would suggest the rim rolls to the inside thus collecting water inside it and allowing for the growth bacteria, would you please explain how your bottle overcomes issue this with pictures if possible, Thank you in advanced!!!

Hi, Tom, by 'flat cap,' do you mean the TKWide Loop Cap? Those are not compatible with the 40oz single-wall wide mouth bottles.

What does the inside of the water bottle look like? I'm curious to see if it's one solid piece or if there are grooves inside.

Hey Tiff! Sorry for late reply. There are no grooves on the inside, as all of our bottles have a smooth electropolished interior, a safe & non-toxic process, and rounded corners make it easy to clean.

Is the TKwide chug cap compatible with the 40 oz

Is this bottle appropriate for placing boiling water and using inside a sleeping bag as a hot water bottle?

In a pinch, single-wall Classic and single-wall Wide bottles (with the Brushed Stainless finish) can be placed on a fire or stove as long as you remove the cap. Do not do this with a painted bottle, it will damage the paint. Heating an Insulated Kanteen is not advised, will damage the bottle and voids the warranty. The exterior of the bottle will be hot to the touch so we do not advise placing the Kanteen inside a sleeping bag
